I primarily use Word's Review features, since it's easier, but I can use the basic Adobe PDF editing tools if your document is PDF, and even Google Docs, if that's what you used. I use The Chicago Manual of Style, as that's what I'm most familiar with, but would have no problem looking up any other style guide you prefer. I'm currently on Central time, so even though I'm based at home, my business hours are 8 am to 5 pm.

I will find the following when I proofread: 
  • Typos 
  • Double words ( such as "the the,”  “and and,”  etc.) 
  • Grammar errors 
  • Punctuation errors 
  • Misspelled words 
  • Issues with formatting (mostly spacing, any deeper is copy editing)
If you want copy editing, where I dive deeper and make changes to sentences, total formatting changes, and so on. Copy editing will cost extra, since copy editing takes more time. For example, your project may work perfectly well when it's a PDF, but if I were to convert it to Word, the formatting might get very messed up when I try to add commas or words, strike out errors, and the like. Such as you having manually added page numbers outside of the header/footer, which would mess up paragraphs if extensive editing were done. Or centering/justifying the paragraphs, rather than keeping them left-aligned by default.
