Did you know that it's easy to convert a Microsoft Word document to PDF? It's simple and quick, without having to do a search or use some online converter. I found this out when I worked for a company as a Technical Editor where we had to convert Word to PDFs every day, multiple times a day. We had the paid version of Adobe, so we could also convert PDF to Word. If you need that, just do a search for converting PDFs to Word and there are many sites that can do that for free.
Ok, once you decide you're finished with using Word and want to convert it to PDF, all you need to do is go to File > Print > Select Printer. There should be a drop-down of options for your printer, Microsoft Print to PDF, and OneNote (Desktop). You should choose Microsoft Print to PDF. Be aware that saving as an Adobe PDF, instead of printing, will require subscribing to Acrobat Pro if you want to save more than one PDF per month.
You can choose to edit Printer Properties if you want, but it defaults to Portrait, which is what you want. Next, press the Print button. It should pop-up to whichever folder you currently have your prints sent to. Choose the folder you want it printed to and then press save. And there you have a converted Word document to a PDF document. Check out the slideshow screenshots if you need a visual example.
